I love authenticity (incase you missed my slogan of “real over ideal”). So when I first met with this fun couple and they described how they were having a very authentic, traditional Mexican wedding, I was sold immediately. They were incorporating so many fun dances and cultural traditions!

From the very start of the day, which was also the hottest day of the year with heat indexes over 110, the guys were a blast to be around; full of laughter and jokes. The girls were calm, cool and collected. The ceremony was lovely and close friends and family gathered to bless their union. Then, during couple’s portraits, we snuck off for a quick stop at the local ice cream shop before jumping into the hot but fun photos. At the reception. hundreds packed into the gorgeous Wynona Heritage Room to get the party started. I’m not sure what my favorite part was: the dance where they tried to knock the bride and groom off of chairs or the one where they throw the groom up so high it made my stomach flip!
