This couple is the perfect kind of adorable. When we first discussed what they wanted for their engagement session, they said “books and ballroom.” Not going to lie, that was a first and I was a little stumped (but also super excited for the challenge)! Plus, the literary nerd in me was really thrilled to have a book loving couple. So on the hunt I went for a perfect location to encorporate this request and by some kind of miracle, I stumbled across Carnegie Special Events, who were so gracious as to let us use their awesome venue on an unbooked date to make this couple’s dreams come true. And so, we spent the first half of the session amongst books…in a ballroom. Because (get this), this couple are trained swing dancers! If I wasn’t excited for this wedding before, I am now! After the indoor portraits, we wandered over to the local park and took advantage of the lovely weather.
